Let’s Talk Race Facilitator Conference

On September 11-13, 2024, Richland Library welcomed 50 library and EDI professionals from across the country to The Power of Conversation: Let’s Talk Race Facilitator Conference. This free event focused on deepening understanding and refining skills in facilitating meaningful dialogues on race. 

Attendees: 

  • Gained insights from panels featuring individuals and organizations experienced in hosting and engaging in courageous and difficult conversations

  • Engaged with trained and emerging facilitators

  • Networked with fellow EDI professionals

  • Learned strategies for maintaining wellness as an EDI Facilitator

  • Experienced the power of proximity as they engaged in tours around Columbia and our Empathy Labs
